Hi all,

Have version 4.00e_E on my box.

S**t***a G**f isn't coming in, plus a few other channels. It says uploading but stays at 0%. Any ideas, is there a newer update?

A few channels have been taken of by N** maybe that is one of them.

No such thing scouser. Someone made an abuse complaint to the service provider
about me having the 2.57 fixed firmware file on the site, and the site was taken
down until I remove it, so the rest of the site is hopefully going to be back shortly.
As I said, bad day.
To top it off, when we got to the checkout in L**l, neither of our cards would authorise, had to run to a drinklink machine to get money out.

 

Yep you are having a bad day. Hopefully you will be back up and running as all the files I gave you I forgot to back up, my bad. Strange thing someone reporting about the 2.57 file , as it is not malicious what excuse had they got to report it for and why would the ISP take it down?

I have no idea scouser. I can only guess that it's someone who doesn't want any clones about, if you know what I mean.
I don't have an email address for the author of the firmware,to ask if I could put it up,
but I don't think he would complain about it, as he wants the clones to work.
Any chance you could get in touch with him, and ask him for permission to have it at that link, then if it happens again, I can get it sorted.

Dont think the author is very approachable at the moment with all thats going on, I will ask though. I suppose we can just leave it out andd direct people to either Ryan's version or another external link page. As long as we have the rest of the info back up it should be OK.

And yes I know what you mean there seems to be quite a few a***oles out there.

2 things...after the last code change some channels didn't come back some of which i read a few pages back that n** had taken off.well they came back today without having to do anything.2 days after code change...have v2.57 on genuine box.also what is jtagging...thanks

 

stupid question - just finishing installing this version 2.57e - what exactly will it do for me?? - does it mean the box updates automatically when codes change??

 

Thanks for the info on the channels must be just an N** fault. Jtagging is basically to revive a dead box by rewriting directly to the box with a Jtag lead, short version of what could be a longwinded answer. Hope your box isnt dead.

 

jockspud i ahve 2.57 on genuine box it doesn't auto update for me from what i read v4 is the one for that but not sure...any advise anyone

 

Jock , I cant remember if you have a clone or genuine SV ?

 

Version 4 on genuine boxes and fixed 2.57au for clones. Both of these will allow autoroll.
