I don;t have that kind of problem. i know how to get the channels that the sound went on two weeks ago back, just want to get the likes of the S*y movies channels that are out of sync sorted.

 

press the AUDIO button on the remote to check if there is another audio stream available and select that if there is. Sometimes the Audio PID changes and the sound is lost, you can tell if when you press the AUDIO button on the remote there is no L and R visible on the audio bar that pops up. Then you should make a note of the frequency of the affected channel and enter the menu/channel edit section and delete it. Then exit back to menu and enter the installation section and manually scan on that frequency. The channel will reappear at the end of your list with the sound back on. If the channel has gone completely the frequency may have changed so you will have to auto scan on all providers with the appropriate symbol rate in order to regain the channel.

I deleted the channels out of sync and manual scanned them back in when you manual scan they will be at the bottom of channel lists worked for me

Hi,
First up thanks to the people who have posted the firmware and instructions. I just successfully flashed a new machine with 4.00.
Just one quick question. I had to enter the codes manually when I booted it up. Is it normal to have to have to do this the first time and then it autorolls after that?

If you have a genuine and updated it with V4 then it should auto roll and update the keys for you.

NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL STARVIEW BUYERS -

Ebay's main clone supplier "Satellitestockshops" has changed his name to "Skybossuk".

This is highly likely to be due to the fact that his previous seller name has been name and shamed on pretty much every Starview forum.

He still manages to sell many clone boxes on Ebay and this purely because he is loading them with the new clone firmware and passing them off as genuine.

Obviously if you are not worried about buying a clone then take no notice of this post.

But again if you are thinking of buying a genuine starview box on Ebay steer well clear of SKYBOSSUK or you may end up getting stung like so many more of us.

 

It's def. a genuine box.The guy I bought them from is doing it himsef and charging €20. I just thought i'd save my buyers some cash

Good morning all. I have managed to get my site back up, minus a couple of files.
The 2.57au firmware file is gone, at least until further notice.
I am waiting for someone else to get back to me as well, about something else, so that is also gone
for the time being.

Most of the site is still there.
