Afternoon Ryan. I have found out that it is the eprom chip that is on this link. I have seen one report of it working, but there are many ways the firmware can check if the box is real or not and therefore I dont think this is the true way of turning your clone into a genuine box, as indicated by the advert.

 

i put the 4.00 into the box last nite workin fine, except the epg seems to be stuck on mon jan 01 will this update to todays date or is there another problem,

 

No just reset the date in user set up.
