    Hi guys,

Have a slight prob that I hope someone can help me with. Jtagged a sv box last night with skymax 2. Everything seemed to go fine. When I rebooted box nothing came on front lcd. When i tried to go back into skymax2 a message appeared stating that the parallel port could not be opened. Had to use windows task manager to end task as it wouldn't allow me to close window.I disconnected rs232 cable from pc. Now when I go into skymax2 prog, even though I've no cable connected to port I'm still getting parallel port could not be opened message. Also after a while, when I switched the sv box I had jtagged earlier on from the back,it booted up and I put the 2.57au firmware on it.I switched it off and connected it up to the tv.When I switched it back on it is dead. I can't try jtagging again as I can't get into the skymax2 without the message coming up.

Hope I'm making sense to someone as I computer illiterate.

    Thanx ryanmg,

Do you reckon I will need to jtag box again or would there be a possibility that the on/off switch at the back is faulty. The jtag I did on it seemed to be successful.

also its mp4 so it doesn't work on wmp so you need quicktime player.and you may need to download the latest codecs if you don't have them.
