Just wondering was there a code change in the last 30 minuites in west yorkshire because i am running the 4.00ee since yesterday but when we was watching neighbours on 1 it froze and the blue box came up saying scrambled or bad channel but the strange thing is we could still hear the program. Code change is the only reason i can think for this happening.I have checked every picture and bit of info going and am as sure as i can be that its an original!!

 

Forgot to mention to get the picture back on i had to change chanel for a second and then change back!!!

 

4.00 could kill it, of its ok on 257 i would leave it alone

 

Ive heard of that problem before, and changing the channel fixed it. but that was on the 257 version !
Prob just a glitch !

 

Thanks for your reply lets hope so.The 3.00 was driving me mad it always seemed to freeze in the best part of a program!

 

yea it was a pain alright , im still using 257, no point in changing when there's no need. All are running fine at the mo !

hi all my friends box has no sound coming from it any ideas i have flashed it did factory reset before uploading s/w channels etc.

i also went into user setup and went through the various settings pal ntsc etc

 

is the tv or sv on mute? if not, could be the connections

hi,anybody got any clues as to why my starveiw box has gone off?been ok for the last week but then came up no signal,tried a few scans and nothing,tried switching the leads round on the splitter and same again,cables new,any ideas?

Please help. My Starview box is dead. I have checked that the power supply is working but the box will not turn on. I have been told that V M are sending out a "turn off" signal to the box which kills it dead. Is there a way to fix the box????

 

can you check to see if they are clones , then we may be able to see what is happening !

I have just come across something i had forgot about if people bought starview boxes or anything else and paid thru paypal you have up to 45 days to put a claim in the person you bought the stuff off will have their funds frozen and they wont be able to get any money from them this way you might have a chance to get your money returned so if you have in the last month go to the paypal site and click on resolution center and fill in the form and fingers crossed you might get your money back do it now and dont wait any longer
