jarrad relax, knock box off from back and rescan again, wait until it says 'downloaded' then put it back on and go tru the motions again , You will get instructions on the drewish link under fergus's name!

I would leave it cool down for 10 mins or so, then try again .

 

jarrad try this,

Connect the box to the pc with your cable but switch it off at the back. Load the correct firmware bin file into GTRom & set it to the correct com port, and select App file only then hit Download. Only then switch on at the back to power on the box. It may take a few sec. so wait at least 30 sec. (If it doesn't work 1st time try also waiting a couple of sec. to switch on after pressing download in the loader.) It may take more than 1 try to work, but eventually you'll see the loader kick in and the % bar increase. You won't see the % on the Starview though. Only green lines moving left to right. Towards the end of the flash you'll see a message in GTRom saying FLASH BURNING. Then it will reach 100% and wait for the download complete popup box to appear & the box will reboot back to factory setup. You will have lost any channel data previously on the box & will need to rescan & switch on EMU again.

 

nice one, I recommend that u stop flashing, its causing u too much damage !

 

still no joy but i appreciate the advice your offering jobber tryed all that you said but still only got flashing lights no re-boot when it usualy re-boots the box goes back to language menu yes

 

follow instrusions a said but you will have to reflash back to firmware you was using before the bad flash

Hi Chaps, have installed V4 and the results are spot on, no problems of stalling or blocking. Well pleased. Must stress though not using a clone box. EPG is good too. This is a cool site.

Hi All.... Fergus noticed the link to help id clones... I have had two clones... but also got two first gen, must be later production as my heatsinks are gold, also noticed first gen have slots underneath as oppose to holes... got pics do you want them???
