After entering the new codes and sorting out the channels with no sound , I just discovered another problem most of the Movie channels are out lip sync , anyone else got this problem and any ideas on a fix ?

All channels fine in dublin with the exception of intermittent freezing ( periodical black screen with "bad or scrambled channel message" ), but recovers after 15secs. Anything to do with splitters pre-starview weakining signal ? or is this inherrent with all S.Vs - Ver. 2.59.

If you do a rescan of channels this should sort it out

That link for the fix or the boxes is now dead for some reason will you have a go and see if you can get in

Fergus are you running V4 in Ireland and if so is it updating as I've just sent two 2nd gen to family in galway???

 

im getting someone to build me a buffered jtag and we are testing it this weekend so if it works i will fix them if anyones interested. im in teeside area so if anyone near has a dead box they could bring it through. i'll let you all know next week
