That may be but i tried a genuine ntl pace box and the channels are working fine sky channel 4 all have sound and the movie audio/video are in sync

 

jtagging will take it back to its previous state - still a clone

 

are them channels the same as the ones on starview? same frequency, same qam etc... the starview someties duplicates channels so if a channels is out of sync, there may be the same channel somewhere else

beats the hell out of me the pace box doesnt give that info. So its gonna take some fiddling to find the right channel.

i was having the same issues with the sound and picture being out of sync. i restored factory settings and started from scratch, this seems to have worked ok

 

some t**t renamed the 300 file!! i compared it to he original 300 file and they were both identical, theres n such thing as a clone safe version! if anyoen ever comes across a link to a suspicious file, post the link in here and i'll check it out

Ya i know the starview will be gone out of commission before we get there did the codes in uk not change today or was it just eire do you know

 

must have been just ireland. mines fine, no other reports.

 

do you know how drew got his website? does he have to pay for it

 

Not sure but anyone can have a website as long as you know what to do to upload it using ftp

 

hi everybody,i need someone to explain step by step the procedure for connecting my NTL box to my starview box with a splitter.I know starview works directly with cable coming into house,but i would rather keep NTL in the dark about me using their cable,I thought it would just be a case of getting an ordinary splitter and putting into NTL box and then putting cable back in and new coax cable from splitter to starview box. doing this either freezes NTL signal and/or gets all menus and info etc on starview but no sound or picture. any ideas anyone????????????

 

hi are you using a coax splitter or a F cable splitter???

hi,i am very new to this it is just a splitter that fits into cable input slot and then has two slots that the ntl cable and a coax cable will fit into also

 

507 million pages of reading yet still cant find the answer!! does anybody know if the starview box will work with N*L Ireland coming into the house via satalite? thanks
