Hey guys thanks for that not too bad when i mess up my own box but not some one else's.

 

a friend of mine from ballbriggan is lookin for a starview box ,but get;s her tv channels through a roof aerial ...will the boxes work without a network,... any wisdom welcome

 

Just got following email from my flebay seller (who is a power seller) in response when i asked for a refund on his cloned boxes whiched died after i flashed with v3.00 that he emailed me ....... any advice

i did not create the software and you only need software to view (illegaly) subscription based tv

the choice is yours, users are breaking the law and could face criminal prosecution if they do not pay for what they view

sellers are fine though as they pay VAT/DUTY

Did you not tell him that you also paid the vat as it is inc in the price also when the codes change can you still receive free to air or do you still have to enter the code to see them as well and also at the end of the year he claims the vat and duty back as a running cost

 

Hows it going lads, i asked a question yesterday about how my mate can connect his starview boxes to his laptop or pc as he seems to be having trouble using various serial and usb rs232 cables.

I think everyone kinda forgot bout my question in light of codes changing and people looking for other help.

So can anybody shed any light as to what the problem might be.

He needs a null modem cable it is similar to the rs232 but it says null cable on it best to use desktop pc to do it hope this helps
