To get back sound on e4 sky1 ect just select the channel in question press menu,
select installation, select manual scan, click ok on down frequency.
It'll now scan for channels when its finished exit back to normal
tv viewing screen go to the end of your channel listing and the desired channel will be there with sound.
This can be done on any channel with no sound by just selecting that channel following the instructions above.

No, just got cable today. Fixed mine and a friends tonight. I only came on to say it is quite easy, so people wouldn't get ripped off sending them for repair, or buy a new box when they don't have to. The place I bought my box from wanted £20 to fix it.

Hi Fergus got your pm with the codes. Ta. I reloaded v4 and scanned for the channels, changed the key and turned on emu. I noticed that you said some freq's worked and others didnt.

Is there any way to get all the channels working for c***** in Eire?

Thanks for all yer help over the last 3-4 weeks with codes and firmware etc. Saw on fleabay today a new starview pvr box that works similar to sky +. has anydody used or heard how good these boxes are.

No because c***** do not carry the same amount of channels as N** do so you should have around 60 or so you will have to be happy with that or have to move to N** area you are like myself stuck in the middle with C*****

i hate to say this but i do think at this stage you will have to start all over with a factory reset and the do your scan and your codes should stay in place but just check and make sure your emu is switched back on as well ok

 

i'd settle for the 60 channels guys if i could get it working!!!!!!!!!

can anyone tell me is there an easier way to get the sound back on the channels rather than having to manual tune all them and then rearange your channels into the right order again...

 

I was getting the full 138 channels for c***** using version 258 until the day before yesterday!!

Using v4.0 and new codes I'm getting bbc's but not irish channels.

 

Look above this thread for info i say because you have been messing about so much your box is stuck in limbo so you will have to do a factory reset and start at the beginning sorry about this but i think it would be better
