movie freeze

    Just did a google search and 2nd link I came across, a user states that not all Plextor drives will let you change that setting. Guess it's not really too big a deal. I'm just going to check some movies in other DVD players and definitely look into the other media, but I'm gonna have to say I think it's truly this player.

    the DVD dash R media is just as good as the DVD plus R as long as you are using Taiyo Yuden or MIT,Verbatims

    Ya, I find it funny that my uncle's higher priced dvd player didn't like my dvd-r(?). I think his works with +r though.

    Anyway, don't worry, I've had no problem with the TDK's other than this one player so far, but I am getting TY next time I need to order. =)

    My next oder of business is as follows: determining the smallest format for video, then storing it all on a drive and creating a database like I saw on collectorz website, and all i have to do is click on a movie and it will play.. So, guess I'm looking at a home theater pc setup....
