movie with no sound

    i downloaded a movie and inorder for it to play with sound i needed to use the VLC player but anyways i burned it to a dvd using nero and there is no sound. this happened to me before. can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    some codecs are missing i think does it play in wmp iff not then
    codecs ara missing

    no it doesnt work in wmp theres picture but no sound. does this mean i cant put it on a dvd then? it works when i pay it in the vlc player

    VLC will play files that other players won't. Download the Kazaa Lite Codec Pack (standard) from AD or Edskes which contains all you will need. Or just download G Spot (contained in the KL Pack) and open the file in it to make sure; it will tell you which codec is missing. I have used the KL Pack for almost 2 years with never a problem. You can also choose which options to install in the KL Pack in case you already have something installed the Pack contains. As far as I know, files which don't have Audio on WMP due to a missing codec will not have sound on DVD until you have that codec installed.
