I have a Pioneer 16x16 DVD burner. I have burnt multiple movies which I use DVD shrink/NERO as my software. I play them back and towards the end of the movie the disc becomes unreadable. Any suggestions?

This sounds like a media issue. The cheaper stuff tends to have problems with the dye on the outer edges. Either use better media or set the target size smaller than the default. Some people set it to 4300mb.

Ensure you are not putting labels on your burnt DVD's.
