Movies not playing

    I put in a dvd movie into my computer and try to play it on windows media but it says "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed into your computer." When i try to play with PowerDVD it says Error Code:F6F0018 The Current display mode is not supported. Please help thanks

    Right click on empty spot on desktop-> choose properties-> select the settings tab. Color quality settings should be 16 or 32 bit. What are yours set at?
