A big thanks to the Admin team for the great work that you are all doing. Matt72 made a suggestion recently which lead to the creation of a Windows - Virus and spyware problems forum http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/166 I was wondering if previous threads on similar discussions such as the following could be moved to this new forum:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/128251
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260908
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/250273
I have a lot to be thankful for today here on AD. I also became a member today. Thanks to all who make it possible.

I know that Admin is already swamped with work but I assume that if we at least point out the location of the pertinent threads, then that might be of some benefit. I have no idea of what it entails to move these threads but for the ease of use and organization of the site I thought that it would be advantageous.

indeed, i make heavy use of the offensive post button for thread teleports too; we posters are also gonna be swamped with all these new forums, cus ppl will be drop posting in wrong places aplenty, more forums can sometimes equal more laziness :)

Point taken. I see it too. For those of us who care, we'll just have to be more vigilant.

Great forum and great people. Hopefully we can make a difference. Also got an idea which was proposed before but I think we can give AD a xmas present :). Will either post or pm with idea.

Just so as to keep it neat and tidy in one thread even though it's off topic, I'd like to again say a big thank you to DRD & Admin for my promotion to senior member. You guys are doing a phenomenal job. This site is certainly an exeptional community and I'll continue to use the title that you have entrusted me with, to the best of my abilities. Thanks again.

I'd say best way to get threads moved to another forum is to use "Report an offensive post" button for the first msg in the thread and state clearly:

"No, there's nothing offensive here, but thought this thread should be moved to [name-your-forum]."

...as the reason for report. That way, it gets looked at by mods, who have the ability to move threads anyway, but doesn't require them to go through the 300,000 forum threads we have.
