I have a sony nw-hd3 and i want to play the songs on that through my laptop because it doesn't let me play them with any program or anything so is there a way of connecting my mp3 player to my laptop just to play the sound out of it? Or can i connect it to my tv or dvd/video recorder? Thanks

to push sound thru your laptop you could use a standard 3.5mm headphone to 3.5mm headphone going from the player and into the microphone input on your laptop...

to push it thru your DVD / TV just use a 3.5mm headphone to 2x RCA cable with a 3x RCA to SCART adapter

All of these cable can be picked up from any halfway decent electrical shop..
