I would like to get an mp3 player but I'm not sure if they work with my computer or if they only work with newer ones. Does it make any difference whether I have a normal windows 98 or 98se? I can't actually remember which one I have so I hope it doesn't! Also where do you plug the mp3 player in on a 98 is it the side?

LOL what is the pc make & model?

you need to make sure it has a usb port refer to manufacturers handbook (what a cliche!)

also, make sure it supports usb 2.0. because if it doesn't, it will take you a helluva long time to transfer the music.

lastly, make sure the mp3 player is coompatable with your version of windows.
