there are many tagging apps out there that can automatically access the freedB and tag albums. The best one I have found which I use is called Tag&Rename. It costs $30 to register, but it well worth it, and I beleive comes with a 30 day evaluation.

Having said that, depending on the quality you ripped your albums at, and of course how many albums you have, it might be worth re-ripping them. What program did you use to rip them with, and what bitrate are they? If they are constant bitrate below 192, and you used a basic program like windows media player, you might want to consider re-ripping. You will get much higher quality files.

The best out there is a free program called EAC (exact audio copy.) It is the only ripper with error correction to ensure a 100% accurate rip. When combined with the LAME mp3 encoder plugin using VBR (variable bitrate) at 192 or 256 kbps, you will have very good quality mp3s. just a suggestion. and fyi, when ripping an album with EAC it will automatically connect to the freedB and tag the album as it rips it. we have a step by step guide on how to use EAC here:
