I have an MP4 movie file. Is there anyway I can burn that to DVD so I can watch it on a DVD player? If I need to convert it first, what do I convert it to?

Nero will burn your MP4 to a dvd. However a stand alone dvd player usually reads MPEG 2 only. May not read MP4 unless a newer model that specifically does this

I have Total Video Converter, and theres no option for MPEG2 but there is an option "DVD Mpeg" which will convert the MP4 to Mpeg. Will a stand alone dvd player accept that?

i tried something like this (mp4 to dvd) with nero and the audio is out of sync.

i had this problem when converting avi to dvd but, i was able to fix it with virtualdub, which converted the mp3 audio to .wav in the avi then i converted to dvd.

is there such a program that will do the same for mp4 (convert audio to .wav)
