Help!!! I have an mp4 player I got for christmas. It's pretty nice. It's 2G's. The brand is TGE I guess. The problem before was I couldn't get videos on it. But after I read the manual it said the videos have to be in an smv format. Isn't that lame? So I found a program to convert it into smv. It narrows huge files down. Get this. I turned a 977 megabyte (avi) file into a 125 megabyte file (smv). Well I just had a new problem. For no reason. This error came up today "Error Reformat Internal media with sigmatel formatter". Well first I plugged it into my computer and tried to see if I can open anything. But it mad my computer freeze and then it said it was corrupted. So I tried to right click and it froze again and nothing happened. So then I searched the web and no one seems to know what "sigmatel formatter" is. I had a disk with my mp4 but thats to small for my computer. What do I do?

yeah it's all in stupid foreign language but click on the AVIConverter CHN-EN Setup link and download it, thats the one i use and found its the only one that'll work on my player, i tried all other AVI formats and no go, the usual file error format and as for AMV format, it don't even recognise that on the player..let me know if it works.

Try format your player again and then pout in the avi file.It could be that your player is hacked to show 4gb,so when you ut it over the limit of what it really is,it will show that error.

Once you convert the file all you have to do is send it to your player but not with WMP.Just right click the file and send it to your player.
