I am learning to author DVDs from my Sony Digital TRV900E Video Camera. I have a Sony PC with their DVD Rom. In s/w I have Adobe Premier 6.5 with DVDit.

I have managed to author a DVD or two recently and it gave me a great sense of acheivement. But suddenly now when I reach the drag and drop point in DVDit I get the following message:-

"DVDit could not find a suitable decoder for '"'. Please ensure that you have a valid decoder installed".

Please note that I have used fresh clips and gone through each step as I should including exporting the Time Line to MPEG-2 everytime.

Help with my problem will be greafully appreciated.

Thanks commwiz for your prompt reply.

You guessed it right, I have XP Home.

But I am unable to reach the site with the link you have provided, I get HTP 404 error error message.

Do a web search on Indeo, Ligos and/or codec. It's now owned by ligos, but I did see the codecs at that link as freeware.
