mpeg 2 vob

    hi am new to dvd writing etc, i have a lot of mpeg movies in 2 files, but want 2 put them on2 dvd, wot software do i need so it will play in a stand alone player to convert these mpeg files in2 vob, or any good tutorials.

    Depends on your MPEG files as MPEG is not a format, but MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 are formats.

    ...but anyway, you need to author the files by using authoring software like SpruceUp, DVDIt, etc.

    how do i demultiplex mpeg 2 files to convert them so i can put them on2 a dvd-r so it will play on a stand alone player that can play dvd-r.

    MPEG-2 files need to have special characteristics on them:'

    -48kHz audio in MP2 or in AC3
    -resolution of 720x480/576 or 352x480/576 or 352x240/288

    If your clips fit into those specs, simply use TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools to demux the files.
