I have an MPEG file that i would like to convert using TMPGEnc to a VCD compatible format. When i open it in TMPGEnc, it gives me "Illegal MPEG Video Stream". The file plays perfect in my normal mpeg players. But it gives this error in TMPGEnc! Even using it's MPEG TOOLS, when i try to DeMultiplex it, it gives the same error! What do i do?

Maybe they're MPEG-2 files? TMPGEnc's support for MPEG-2 as an input is relatively limited. But if they are MPEG-1 files and you have issues opening those, try to open them with VirtualDub and frameserve them to TMPGEnc.
