MPEG too big for VCD

    I have an mpeg thats just a bit 2 big for VCD is there anything i can use that can shrink it down enough to fit or maybe split it in2 CD's? thanks

    You can use the KVCD template for TMPGenc (120'-140' KVCD into a CD-ROM, but with a slightly worse quality; if interested, read http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/124272) or, better, split the movie into 2 wth TMPGenc File--> MPEG Tools ---> Merge & Cut (double click the name, set a time < 80' for a piece, save with a certain name and 'Run'). Create the 1st VCD (VCD-1) with Nero adding a bitmap like 'Insert Disc 2' after CD1.MPG.

    I forgot: when you cut with TMPGenc choose, as Type, MPEG-1 Video-CD.
