Can someone help me get a few mpeg videos I have on my desktop onto a dvdr using dvdshrink or clonedvd2. Is it even possible? Thanks in advance.

are you trying to play them on a stand alone player? or just backing them up?

you can just use nero and select "make data disk" for a backup.

If you are trying to play them on a stand alone player, you will probably need to convert it into a format your player will understand.

I am trying to make the videos playable on a stand alone player. I don't have Nero. How do I convert it into a format my player will understand?

"a format your player will understand" = what kind of player it is. Is it a DVD player? or will it play DivX? Some of the newer DVD players will play many different formats. So all you would need to do is convert your Mpeg into a format that is compatible with your player.
