i have a couple movies that i was sent, and trying to get them onto dvd. when i opened them they are bin/cue files. so i mounted them in daeomn tools and copied the movie files. but when i try to burn them, it says they are not in a recognizable format. so i tried converting with winavi, but it says that it is either broken or unsupported. it lists them as .mpg's. i thought mpg's were the same as mpeg's. but i can't burn them, convert them, or anything. i wanna get the 3 parts onto one dvd, that's all. please advise.

From the sounds of it, those are probably VCD files. And no, not all mpeg's are created the same.

You should probably check to see whether they are MPG1 or MPG2 files, and the coding info. That should be the first step before you even attempt a DVD.
