Fred you can always add them to your profile as well. Just select "my profile" in the top right corner of the page and add some pics. You have to choose from pics on your computer tho. Remember the file they are located and just browse til you find them. Have fun buddy. .....gm
My Niece, Her Mom, Maxie, the dog that looks like a pear, took her for walks daily to try to get rid of some of that fat off her, my Uncle and Wasyl, he lives with my Uncle and helps around the house thank goodness, he works construction, doesnt speak much English but thought him a lot while there, of course the curse words were the most fun lol.
The next day there I asked to be taken to where I stayed with my Uncle and Aunt (she passed blees her soul) back in 65, it's the Gladstone area of Peterborough, I was kinda shocked, back than it was predominately a Ukranian area, as you will see it's all changed now, it's all actually I don't know for sure I never specifically asked, my niece called it the Asian area, to me back in the states in the Phila area anyway Asian to us is like China town, Asian in the UK means I think e.g. Pakistani, Indian, Arab whatever, anyway this is the area I stayed in back in 65.
This is the gentleman my Uncle sold his house to years ago after his wife my Aunt Winnie past, it was very heartwarming how everybody in that street knows my Uncle and the respect they give him, he rides there every other day on his bike to shop, even though he has a major modern shopping area close to him this is where he is comfortable, they all know him and take care of him, its still his old neighborhood and most of his good memories are there I guess. He's a good person, fun loving, great sense of humor a prankster lol, and still bothers the lady's, a character so to speak.
This is where he bartends in the Gladstone area, actually he just retired from that, driving home late at night every night got to be a little to much so he finally gave it up, I'm kinda glad it did start to take its toll, but he was still a good bartender.
I dont know if thats what he is abuzar, I never asked but he treated my Uncle like gold, he was a nice man. This is one of the grocery stores my Uncle shopped, it was always his first stop of several. We had to make him a bigger basket for his bike, now that I was there he would buy all kinds of extra things. I always followed him with his spare bike, mind you I haven't drivin one since I was a kid, you should have saw me the first half hour I was getting aquanted on one, I was swerving all over the street, after the half hour it was a pieace of cake. Now mind you this guy is 88 years old, I'm behind him huffing and puffing and this man didn't even break a sweat, amazing lol.
This is the owner of that store, he took me in the back of the store once and I got to taste some of his home made brew so to speak lol, it was fun.
Thats enough for now I think, greenman I gonna post some perogie shots for you at the good eats thread that you might find intersting, like you guys said, you might have created a monster lol.
