Hi I have plugged my ipod into my computer and from once the bar showing the capicity of music and files has turned solid orange showing only other files, when i browse into my ipod it shows no music or videos yet my ipods memory is still used up as much when i used to have music and video etc, is it possible i can recover the music and video? http://img115.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ipoderxo2.png ^^^^as you can see most of the ipods capicity is used by "other" files which once used to be a mixture of "music" and "video" anyway i can getb the music and video back??? Help will be appreciated ps.i have not backed up my musci and video
How are you adding the songs/videos to your iPod? If you are using iTunes, the only thing that I can think of is for you to backup your files and sync automatically. Use this guide to get the songs/videos from your iPod to your computer, then you can sync with iTunes and it should put them in as songs and videos instead of 'Other'. If you aren't using iTunes, then try using it to see if it works. ;-)
