MXpro not working on LG tv?

Hi, I got a MXpro box as a Christmas present and I had it on my Samsung t.v.in the bedroom and it worked no problem through the HDMI port, I've put the box in my living room and I have a LG t.v. and I only receive a black screen through this. Does anybody have any ideas how I can get a picture through my LG tv? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
