my computer is not recognizing my disc drive!!

    The strangest thing happend. the little yellow thing by my driver is gone and its reading discs!

    but programs like Itunes & Window Media Player aren't recognizing it.

    oh, i just attempted to burn a DVD using DVD clone. it was successful.

    What drive did you use to burn that DVD? The old one or the Samsung?

    Agreed!!! lol. I still think you should drop that Samsung and get one of the drives I recommended or something similar in price for you needs.

    I agree with GM. I personally like the DVD-ROMs for wiewing/ripping, but unless you do an enormous amount of that, I'd get one of those burners. It can't get any cheaper,is much cheaper than a movie date!

    agreed.

    the samsung was from my sisters broken computer. its very old. haha.

    anyways. iTunes and Windows media player still aren't recognizing the drive.
