my computer keeps shutting down on it's own.

    this is closer except the fan is diff. and plugs in on the right side not the left

    Well the fan is the most important bit really, but is the heatsink very similar to that one? If it is, it's understandable that it could potentially overheat.

    yeah it seems to be, I just took the card completly out. and tried to freespin the fan and it is jammed up. so I hope I found my colprat. only question now is can I replace just the fan? if so where would I find one....... or would it be better to just replace the whole card?

    if you can find a similar fan you can try replacing it. If not, it may be worth replacing the card, it isn't worth much anyway.

    yeah I noticed I can get about the same card for next to nothin. Thanx for the help!

    Well don't buy the exact same card, they're end of line (for PCI express) and you'll be wasting money if you do. As long as you have PCI express, you should really replace it with an HD4350 or HD4550, as they're the new versions of that product. If you have AGP, however, I'm not sure what your options are.

    oh I won't get the same card, I have this habit of upgrading.

    Well then do say what you intend to buy before you pull the trigger, there may be something better for the money :p
