I have purchased a copy of dvdxcopy ver.1.4.0 and I made a copy of Lilo& Stich DVD for my kids so that they can view it while on the road w/o using the original and get damage. I have a sony DRU-120A w/4.7 emtec DVD+RW and a P4 2.5, 200Gy HD 512 Ram so I know I meet the requirements. My home DVD player is a Pannasonic RV32 (compatable) and my mobil DVD Player comes w/an excursion (it should also play) but it does not. Also I like to find out if the recording can be done straight from a DVD Rom to a DVD R+W. Can anyone help I am tired spending money on thing that does not seem to work. Help! please
Well i have copyed over 10 DVD's (All kids stuf, like monsters Inc.) with DVDxCOPY and they work on my player, my friends AND my PS2, but thats with DVD-R not DVD+R. So i say that your player eather does not like DVD+R OR the brand of DVD. And most DVD backing up is first copyed to your HDD first, then onto a DVD. You CAN copy ontp a DVD+RW but i think only DVD+/-RW players can play them. Hope this helps.
