My computer is just over a month old and already it is having problems.

I have a JLMS XJ-HD166 DVD-ROM and it played DVD's fine for a little while until they stopped playing one day.

It play audio cds and all that other stuff still, but any DVD I place in it, the driver makes the noise as if it's starting to read the disk, but then stops after just a few seconds.

When I open any DVD player application, it runs real slow until I take the DVD out of the drive.

I'd really like to know what happened and what I could do about this. I'd be happy from any input, thx! :p

Bad drive, methinks. I'd get it replaced if it's only a month old.
