my new project: PCxbox

well. i've done the dvd backup thing, and the xbox modding thing. looks like its time for the next project. I've decided to mod an xbox into what it should have been: a true pc/digital command center.

What i plan to do:
i plan on modding an xbox case and putting in a 933mhz Via EPIA-M9000 motherboard/cpu, a dvd drive, and a 40gb harddrive. I plan to use this for the living room and also for the vehicle (lcds to play emulators, watch dvds, listen to mp3s, and more).

Items being used:
VIA EPIA-M9000 mini-itx mobo/cpu combo
Maxtor fireball 40GB harddrive
LG DVD-Drive
Xbox Case (tentatively, might try to go retro like i've seen a few people do and use a nintendo case or a atari2600, we'll see).
Mini-ATX Powersupply
DC inverter (for car)
Another LCD display.

I hope to run windows xp prof on it.
