my pc screen turns tint green.

    e colour of my screen change. it should show e correct colour of e picture, video,websites n all that. but it just like having a layer of light green(not sure izzit green or izzit light blue) colour covering it. it happen when my bro is playing game. suddenly e whole screen turns green. but i still can c everyting on e screen just that e colour is different now. tis makes my eyes feel uncomfotable when using e pc.
    deres 1 time i on e pc its back to normal. but after a while, it turns green again. wad should i do to make it back to normal forever?
    can tell me in mre simple words? pls dun use words like u are toking to a person who knows every names of a com's things. cuz im a com idiot.

    right click on a blank space on ye desk-top
    select
    display properties
    advance
    color

    see if ye have a color adjustment,if ye do adj ye tint of ye screen

    can tell me step by step? after go to advance then? cuz i dunno nid to adjust wad? deres so many columns. for info, im using win 2000.

    try changing the settings on the screen itself.

    i got brain damage after reading that english, anyways probably th vga cable is bad

    see if the monitor does the same thing on another computer tho i think it will. take the monitor in to be fixed or buy a new monitor. post in proper english as text speech is not tolerated on this site.

    You got brain damage, because it wasn't English. I would bet is more of a problem with the left hand not being able to hit the t and h keys. :(

    hum maybe his keyboard is messed up to because i couldnt stand to type like that. i use the letters u and r for you or are but at least you can tell what the words are and not just e lol.

    Odd, only the word 'the' has the missing characters.
    Anyway we're not here to criticise his english. I assume you use a single monitor? if you can try using a different VGA cable with the monitor and check your colour settings, report back with results.

    what is monitor and what is vga cable? i cannot adjust the color settings.

    can you try the screen with a different pc?

    if it is the same it needs a trip to the repair shop.

    This of course assumes it is a VGA cable the monitor's attached with... :p

    now my com couldn't start at all. i cum here thru using safe mode. i don't haVe other com in my hse..so i couldn't try on other pc.

    my com couldn't start..i mean when it goin to start the com,it straight away restart e com again..and this continues unless i shut down my com.is it that it has caught virus or theres other problem?

    about the color problem.. e vga cable is it e wire connect to my modem n my cpu? if it is that one,den theres nothing wrong with that wire.

    vga cable is the cable that attaches the monitor to the computer.

    so now how? i check le.deres nth wrong with e vga cable.
    should i adjust the settings of my com or theres smth wrong with smth inside my monitor?
    i try go display settings n go advanced.. n then i go color management.. den i click "add".. it gives me a list of color profiles. should i change e color profile?
    i currently using 'sRGB Color Space Profile'. should be bah if im not wrong.

    Try selecting one of the other profiles and see what effect it has, and if english is your first language, please try and make your posts more understandable, they're very difficult to read. If not, I apologise.
