here's my situation. I've got an sli computer (two 7600 gt's) and a sata hdd couple of fans in my case and the SATA dvd+/-rw/cd-rw drive. It was working fine until i got a new case... same psu but instead of one 80mm case fan i've got a 120mm and an 80mm. Once everything was hooked up the computer kept turning off about 30 seconds into boot with nothing on the display. I took out the optical drive and boom no more restarting, then i took out the 120mm fan and plugged the optical drive back in. Does this sound logical? Could a dvd drive cause a computer to not boot? I'm unsure of what my psu is EXACTLY since the psu has been moded and no longer has a cover with any kind of specs or a brand/ model number to determine if it's a psu problem. If it's actually the psu that's causing the failed boot, is my dvd drive done?
