My speakers arent speaking and my cd player wont burn data

I am very slow with directions and
where the computer is concerned
and I have gotten great advice in here from many
people that gave me fantastic baby steps.
I appoligize if you think I had the wrong attitude
I just dont like being talked down to.

3 weeks ago I got the PC back with xp reinstalled
so its usually me that is doing something wrong.
I uninstalled the game and put in a new modem and thats
when I must of lossened the wire for the sound. But it was
in there tight just when I twisted it did I get my sound
back. So it must be I did something to the wire to ruin it
Its just that in one day 3 things went wrong. I probably
am doing something wrong with the cd writer also.

Ema, I stopped being a kid well before the time you were a twinkle in someone's eye-maybe even before your Mom was born. In reality, I have never grown up tho; and have no attention in ever doing so. Your pc's short a few gigs and I won't be wasting any more of my time on someone beyond help. You got an enemy? Just give the cd-rom drive to them and tell them it worked for you! 62 and loving every minute the MAX. "I don't suffer fools' kindly!"

is there anybody in here that has the same
problem I have with the cd rom . I just was able to
write something to the cd with a differnet program
but not with the program that came with the
pc.
Would love some help

When I used Nero6 I was able copy the data to a cdrw

when I used the pcs program It keeps saying there is no
disk in the drive. Please insert a writable cd into drive E
And there is a cd in there and I even put it in the drive D
It still doesnt work
I dont know the name of the program
its the one where I send things to be
written and it goes to the task bar and
I get a message that pops up from the task bar
you have files wiating to be written to the cd
to see files now click this button
