I flashed the evo 7 in the correct bank according to the switches and I verified to check if the flash worked and it did. I installed the chip correctly and wont work. Please help dont know what to.
You need to be more specific than " it won't work" for someone to offer assistance. Are you at least getting the "Matrix Inside" wording under the Xbox logo? An easy way to test is to flash to bank 4. You will see two 256k slots. Flash the 256k bios to these two slots and make sure your dipswitches are set to bank 4. Reboot and see if you get the "Matrix Inside" wording. If still no, reset your chip and try again.
How do u know if it is hooked up right...The D0 point can be a problem....is it lined up right..just a hair off will not let it work
