For those who care, QVC was gone here as well. Got updating code message and otherwise blank screen. Different to dropped channels message of "insert card". Did a powerscan on Eurovox and it came back as new entry on main list. Had to re-enter it in Favourites as old link didnt work. N*L seem to be messing about in more ways than one.

comments like ciskz are designed for one purpose only and thats too close threads like code beggars in the past, alot of good threads were closed down so best to ignore poor fools like them and have a read about fixes before asking, if its available youll all know about it before you even come on to AD no doubt

    tell ya what pal,
seeing as your so concerned about it,
why dont ya ring ntl or chorus or whoever your with, and explain to them that you have an illegal receiver and your concerned about when it is going to stop working.Ask them to tell you exactly what their plans are, as they might affect your viewing via your illegal box.they'll probably be right around to sort you out !!

FFS, the forum is here to help people sort out problems with boxes that have ALREADY stopped working, or boxes that people have bought and know nothing about.
Its NOT, as far as I am aware anyway, a crystal ball enabling it to forsee all the plans of the service providers.
So to you and all the people in Cork (that you seem to want to represent)call your provider and they'll sort ya !

y'all have a nice day now

PS, how was your post helpful to others BTW ???
your box still works and you posted twice demanding to know when it would stop working

    !

May I remind some of you guys that the boxes are not, in and of themselves, illegal. You may elect to scan for free-to-air channels only! Should you choose to use the available technology for unlawful purposes, that is very much a personal choice.
