    easy,
i wasnt realy sure where to post this thread,
ive just downloaded a avi movie file an it has been compressed using nandub, but i cant seem to be able to play it using quicktime pro, neither sound nor video tracks work.... i was wondering if iam missing a codec ? i have divx 5 and 3ivx installed and have had no problems playing other movie files apart from this one,
iam running quicktime on a power book g4,
any websites with a nandub compatible codec or a codec package will be much appreciated...

NanDub could use DivX3 (4CC DIV3) and MS MPEG4 v2 (4CC MP42). However lots of people use Nandub simply for muxing audio. Perhaps this is what you mean? If so then the file could be using any codec. Both DivX and 3ivX should decode DivX3, well at least they can under windows.

As for the audio, guess it could be AC3.

I would suggest that you try a different player. Say mplayer or VLC.
