Any new encryption still has to be able to play in a normal DVD home player hense they will never be able to twart the programmers. I have one of the original hack T-shirts with the DVD encryption code what a great item sold in the 2600 magazine heheh. Try this run your PVR through your computer using anydvd and you can copy movies to your pvr hehehe. Why burn movies to a disc how old school. I need a terabyte hard drive heheheh christmas time weeeeeeee. Ah ignore all the secrets I have written above they are secrets. Opps did I say that outloud? I must increase my medication now bye!
I didn't have any problems backing up National Treasure. I used dvdxcopy along with dvd43, went fine..
Backed my copy up with NERO Recode 2 & anyDVD, performed main movie backup drive to drive "Burn at once" in 16 mins. Plays back PERFECT!
May be a bad sector on the disc.Try just the movie portion of the disc itself, or run dvd43 in the background.www.dvd43.com
i went to comp usa today and i saw program i never heard of before (keep in mind i just returned from deployment). it's called 123 copy dvd. has anybody ever heard of this and if so is it any good?
If heard of 123 dvd software and know of what your talking about. If you live in the US it doesn't have a ripper available when purchased. I guess you Have to download it from some website.I just read something of that matter from PCworld magazine.
I've heard that National Treasure is another movie with the runner in green shorts found under unreferenced material (same as Bourne Supremacy, and a few others). Backing up entire disk may therefore be a problem for shrink, but doing reauthor movie only should be ok.
i thought about downloading 123 copy dvd but i don't want ot waste my time if its not worth having. i already have dvd x copy, nero dvd decrypter, dvd shring alcohol 120%. is copy dvd even worth getting?
123 DVD Copy is another program like DVDXcopy, whose company is out of business. This program is being sold retail because it does not include decrypting function so it is in compliance with MPAA rules, supposedly you can go to the 123 site and get what you need to enable decryption. The retail version will only copy unencrypted DVD's. You can do the same thing with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink and they are free. Here is an article on the program http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,115884,00.asp
I burnt National treasure without any problems, mind you my copy is region 2 (I live in Ireland) I have heard the American version can give problems when trying to copy.
There is no special protection, problem with National Treasure. The runner in the green shorts is on Universal pics, this is a Disney. I have Region 1, and it breezed right through Recode2 with AnyDVD.
nope never heard of it, but why would u buy a prgram when there are great ones for free? think ill be stickn to shrink and decrypter. if u decide to get it let us know how it works though.
I backed up full disk (US), minus commentary and otehr sound tracks other than 5.1. I ripped with Shrink then burned with Nero 6 Ultra Edition. Play back is beautiful, no problems to report.
yea copy it with dvd shrink in reauthour... what causes the green screen when trying to back up the whole movie, boing boing stopping up baggies baggies
My friend has backed-up this movie just with shrink and decrypter. So you should be able to back it up.Go to www.dvddecrypter.com make sure you version is updated.Donate if you like, Helps keep this program updated to newer encryptions.AnyDVD is also good and has it's own updates.Dvd43 is a good program.
You are right it is way off the subject, Bearshare is a file sharing program, if you want to know more, try this forum http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/18
Its ok I have used it, but its not as good as shrink and shrink is free you can get it right here in the download section.
