NDSL R4 SDHC 2GB/4GB Loading Screen (**NO Email posting or banned**)

much appreciated no joy though loads of these seem to be corrupt when i download them.
found another string about downloading a usa version from www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp worked a treat first time.

hey i have the same problem the loading screen is all that appears, and ive downloaded the rar.file of the website but even when i have unzipped that and put on each file still doesnt work if you can send me what ever i need to get it to work id appreciate it

2) What ias the R4 type you bought, SDHC, R4i?
3) What SD card did you buy, 2gb, 4gb?
4) What make is your SD card, Kingston, Sandisk?

first post,wish it was on a happier subject.
I too have had a nightmare with 5 R4 sdhc cards bought recently.I am using 4gb kingston micro sdhc cards i have tried every firmware i can get my hands on with no luck,Puggwash if you could help me out it

Where did you get the R4's from?

Is a 5 R4 cards doing the same thing?

puggwash you seem to be the man that can help me, i just bought 5 r4 sdhc cards and 5 micro sd s on the box of the sd chips it says san disk, i got them from depot888, i wanted to do games for the kids for xmas, ive tried to put games on it but when i put the e4 into the ds it is sayin "please put "loaderxxx"file into sd card". what does that mean? if you could help you would be a legend in my gaff

Your SD card is not allowing the software to load properly.
The R4 card is not sending the info to your DS so it will show a loading error as you have described.

What version have you loaded onto your SD card (1.12, 1.15, R4i etc).

I have a vast selection of software that I can help you with to get it working but may take time findign the right one.

mate its a ds lite,i think the one i downloaded was r4irts v2.2 if that makes sence

 

it still says the same thing

 

Pugg tried all those files still no go all 5 r4 with loading screen,this is nipping my head what next m8,ive got till monday or their going back

 

this type of card is for ds's not dsi's thought that was a given

I bought R4 revolution card from the above site, thought it was good value with 8GB micro SD card. What a mistake!

Tried everything all the software you can think of including the one they recommended it. Still, no luck. I wonder if I have been conned. The screen is always on loading, this happens even when you have not inserted the micro SD card in R4. I don’t know if the contact is lose or I am not inserting it properly. The actual package came in zip lock bag, the R4 was in blue box and the usb key reader was in the same bag. I did get micro SD card in sealed package.

Any help on sorting the problem will be much appreciated.

I have just bought exactly the same thing from mymemory. Same problem. Tried lots of different firmware, still no joy.

 

just joined the site today after been sent here from a search engine
I have also had hugh probelms trying to get my R4 sdhc card to work on the ds lite ive tried at least 10 different firmwares from various sites with no luck
Then iI came across www.DSadapters.co.uk and found a R4 SDHC download I downloaded it extracted the files copied them all onto the micro sd card madea new folder called "Games" and "Bobs your uncle Fannys your aunt" works a treat

AS a new person on this site a rule that applies.

I did everything that was suggested in this tread. Followed lots of different advice. Nothing has worked. In the end return the card and got my self Acekard 2i. Very simple to set up, works a treat. The trouble with R4 that none of them are genuine. They are all clones of original. So there are more chances of hit and miss. I would recommend Acekard is thing to go for.

I got my r4 + 8gb card from that same site today. Been trying to get it to work with no luck... so you recommend me giving up and returning it? Did you contact mymemory.co.uk about it and see what they said?
