I had the Altec-lansing on my old Dell and loved them, the wife has them now. Got Bose for the new one and they are nice, fantastic sound.

brobear is so TRUE. there are plenty of avenues 4 anyone to rip 4 free. Big Brother is always watching, therefore we need to play according to the rules and apply "loopholes" as we deem necessary. Nero can be obtained over and over and over and . . . They think that they took dvd decryter and all from us in January, but they are still around. If i possess a cd or dvd then i should be able to burn such and even let my family or friends view it too. Ooh, uh, eeh, dear have i sinned father?????

Probably. Be careful around here, a bunch of these characters carry large stones. They don't worry about having sinned either. LOL

Political discussions are best done in the appropriate section, Safety Valve, http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/17 , in the General Discussion section would be most appropriate. ;)

I'm not against freebies, but I have a bunch of the pay for use apps as well. I found reloading trials to be a pain, so if I'm going to continue using a retail app like Nero, I get the retail version. Nero is one of the few companies that offers an unlimited trial. However, it seems to work for them.

Hey all. I am getting a new pc but i don't want to have to buy the software again. Is there a way of putting my program on disc, do i just have to copy the program file onto disc and know the reg code?

If i can't do this then theres no point in me getting a new computer, because i have so many programs on disc.

I had this problem before when i was goign to have to wipe my hardrive.
The obvious thin is to just reinstall it off the original disc, but i don't have that, i lost it along with the others!

If you can help please do. Thanks.

just go to the nero website and download the latest update to version 6 or 7 and save it to a blank disc and then reenter your serial number whenever you are ready to reinstall the program!:)

The latest update? Don't you need the original versoin of nero to get the update to it? Or does the update basically re-install the latest version of nero?

    Sorry im dumb. lol.

So when i save the update install file to disc, it will install the latest version on my other comp when i open it?

If thats what you mean could you confirm that please :D.

    Thanks for oyur help.

All you need is the serial for Nero. When you get ready to install, download the app and install the serial. I'm assuming your new PC will have an internet connection.

LOL. Yeh. I get it now, i wasnt to sure what the updates where, i thought it was kind of a patch or a plug in to your current nero. But now i know that its the latest version, and you just need to insert your serial number. I see.

    Thanks guys!

What a tool, be wary of men in dark coates offering advice through e-mails.
