lmao.. how did i know that was going to be xms..
    na man..just get this cpu..

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103562

for 40.00 extra.. u get an extra core.. i think it is a fair compromise.. plus those things overclock like a whore.. so it should all be good.. and on the video cards.. i have an X850XT.. that maxes every game i have out.. :) but what about this..

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130035

it is resertified. so that means a person had it.. and decided i am going to give this back ... and spend a lil more and upgrade..
these cards were never defective.. but they were used as credit to get another video card..

that is an awsome deal personally.. but the 7600gt is 128bit.. wtf?

but naa man .. have fun..
and that ram is fine.. (sammorris)

Yeah, I too was going to suggest an X2, but having diverted him to XMS RAM which was a little over what he was expecting, there may not be much left for anything else.

What would I need a dual core for? For just playing games it wouldn't really make much of a difference. I won't ever be burning dvds in the background. Besides I don't even understand the whole overclocking thing.

You may not see it now, but being able to run a program without anything else interrupting it is very valuable. I don't always use my second core for anything, but if any application interrupts, I don't lose my game speed at all.

Alright well I'm having some money issues and I'm thinking.... well should I just get this thing here? that's like 15 bucks cheaper then the 7600gt I originally planning on getting.

I'm leaning towars the third one cause I don't need the best of the best. And it has a bigger rebate. :D
And I am really kinda tight with money... the cheaper.. the better hehe.

A little under 10% slower. So it'll be maybe, 92% of the speed? Opteron 100s are good things, especially if you overclock them! That depends on memory, board and PSU though.

Not by a vast amount, but XFX are a high quality respected manufacturer.
