need a mother board

    hey guys i was wondering if u could tell me which mother board to get for a intel pentium d. 3.2 Ghz.

    The GA-P35-DS3R will support that CPU, along with pretty much everything else that's come along since.

    will this run fine even if i put a diamond radeon 3850 512mb in it.

    I don't see why not, but if you're making a proper gaming PC out of it, you should really spend more and get a proper motherboard, you'll notice the difference.

    Newegg is the cheapest place to get it too. Thats the least you should get, anything below that isn't worth getting. You need a new processor too...

    no i dont need a processor. i just need help on that motherboard and ram problem. thanks for asking though.

    Sorry I thought you had a Pentium 4. Don't think that would have worked really well with Crysis! You're probably fine with a Pentium D, although it's a bit on the low side...

    A Pentium D will struggle with crysis if you put the detail up, it's about the slowest CPU I'd recommend using. Consider upgrading that soon, even if it's only to an E2160 or E2180.

    which processor should i get that will run crysis smoothly.

    As good as possible really.
    Ideally, that's an E8400, but most boards need BIOS flashes to run those.
    The E6750 and E2180 are two excellent CPUs for playing Crysis.

    Where you update the software on a motherboard's BIOS to update it. Potentially risky, but often worthwhile.
