Im get some people tell me that the dvds i give them dont play or skip yet some say they play fine.Ive used memorex -r's and sony +r's and i get the same problem. The program im using is DVD Fab Platnium Express. Now it seems this program is great b/c it copies everything in 1 step and in under 25 min usually even tv shows disc to disc.So im wondering what is the catch,is some of the skipping due to this program b/c if not this program seems like the best 1 out there b/c it does everything.

I dont think memorex, or sony, is that good of media.
The symptoms you just mentioned, points to bad media.
Try taiyo yuden, verbatim,or ritek, and try to get branded so you know what you have.

Branded means the maker of the disc is stamped on it.

Slowing the write speed helped me get better consistency on my burns. It slows you up some but you don't have doovers.

Both shrink(free) and nero(not free) have write speed changing capabilities. They also work very well for consistant results.
