I have a Elura 80 canon CC was trying to record a band playing a song but when I played it back it was distorted. There is no way to regulate the Input Volume with this CC so I was looking for some Ideas from you all. I have to do some more recording in a few weeks. Thanks For any Input...

I may be wrong on this but I dont think you would find an audio input level feature in consumer level cameras. I would think this sort of thing is more at home on professional cameras.
What I would do is to get further away from the source of sound so as not to distort the pickup from the mic. Once you have recorded the audio you could use an audio editor (I prefer Gold wave) to normalise the audio to flatten the peaks of the audio stream which would put the amplifier into clipping upon playback.
