Need code for US Nokia 6061 Thank you

Hello,

I would like to unlock a US Nokia 6061 I bought with IMEI 010965006933222. It has a Cingular SIM card in it (89014101101236919626).

So if I have tried this code and it gives me the "code error" message, does this mean the phone has already been tried to many times? I have tried this code and the #pw+890 581 010 752 077+7# based upon the original gen versus the asic 6 that generated the code suggested. The only other piece of information is that when I have the SIM card I listed in the phone after powering up it says "SIM card registration failed". Could it be that this SIM card was just put in and the carrier was not Cingular? Sorry for so many questions as a Newbie to cellphones. The phone is unused and brand new condition in the Nokia box (still has the original protective film on the outsideand screen) with no mention of any carrier anywhere.

"SIM card registration failed"
means the sim is not activated or has expired.
