Need For Speed Carbon installation problem

    I am trying to install NFS Carbon, and the installation doesn't proceed and displays the error "Please install DirectX 0 before installation the game". Can anybody tell me please where may I get "DirectX 0"? Is there any "DirectX 0"? I haven't heard about it. My operating system is Windows 7 with DirectX 11 installed.

    I am not sure what could be causing the issue. Try reinstalling and restart pc.

    I have also face same kind of error in various games and Direct X is API of Microsoft require for Multimedia graphics and Gaming. So you need to download and install DirectX.

    adamjohnsons, directx is part & parcel of windows so why download it when you already have it?

    Dear, Moderator You are right that it comes along with windows but sometime it create problem because of some compatibility issue such as violation error in DirectX file, DLL File not found or some time Black/empty screen arise. So that we need to download its latest compatible version.
