Hello. I recently got myself a macbook pro and have been wanting to test out the dvd ripping ability of it. I downloaded mactheripper as it seemed to be fairly popular and ripped a DVD of mine. Now when i go to the folder the ripped DVD is in all I get is .IFO, .VOB, and .BUP files. I was wondering if anyone could help me solve the problem to get these files to a readable type.

    Thanks a lot!

Use Apple's DVD Player to open the VIDEO_TS folder.

Run the DVD Player application. Then goto File > Open DVD Media and navigate to the rip's VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive. Click 'Choose' and the movie should play. Enjoy.

If I might add to david456's instructions,

Unlike a disk image which auto-plays when DVD Player is launched, after opening a VIDEO_TS folder with DVD Player, you'll have to click "Play" on the controller before the movie will begin.
